This recipe makes a moist, flavorful and healthy burger. Yes, turkey burgers can be juicy and flavorful! Made with readily available ingredients and they taste just as good as a beef burger. One secret ingredient is jarred roasted red peppers which helps take this burger over the top.
Not often you can have a family friendly, healthy dinner on the table in 20 minutes! You can serve either on a roll or not with all of your favorite toppings. Get creative and try guacamole with your lettuce and tomato, or a nice thick slice of red onion, cheese and mayo with pickles. The options are endless so just go for it!
Place all ingredients in a bowl and lightly mix with fingertips. Be careful to not overmix the meat which will cause the burgers to be dense.

Form patties gently. This recipe makes 4 – 5oz. patties. Preheat a grill pan on medium heat.
Once grill pan is pre-heated, spray the pan with a non-stick cooking spray. Place patties on the pan and cook each side for approximately 4 minutes per side. If you are adding cheese, place cheese on top during the last 2 – 3 minutes of cooking. You know they are done when the center reaches 165 degrees.
Serve on a roll or not with all your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

- 1 lb. 99.9% Fat Free Ground Turkey
- 3/4 cup Roasted Red Peppers (jarred)
- 1/2 cup onions medium dice
- 1-2 T Chopped Garlic (depending on your taste)
- 2-3 T Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle (we like ours spicy, so we may use more than 3 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix with fingertips.
- Portion into 4 patties. Try to make them all the same size so they all cook at the same time.
- Preheat grill pan medium heat and spray with a non-stick cooking spray.
- Place burgers on a grill pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
